Ishizaki Kisen runs high-speed boats and cruise ferries from Matsuyama Tourist Port to Hiroshima and Kure (checked on the Ishizaki Kisen official pages, 2026-10-13). The high-speed boat is now called “Linear Jet” in the official wording (it was formerly called “Super Jet”). The Setonaikai Kisen official site also lists the same route as the “Hiroshima/Kure-Matsuyama route.”

Buses to the port (as of 2026-10-12): The Tourist Port Limousine Bus is suspended. According to Iyotetsu’s official PDF, the only service is one departure from Matsuyama Tourist Port at 22:22, timed to the arrival of the ferry from Hiroshima. To get from the city to the port, take the Iyotetsu Takahama Line from Matsuyama City Station to Takahama Station, then the connecting bus from Takahama Station.

Reservations: Ishizaki Kisen takes bookings from two months before boarding, by phone (089-953-1003) or online. Setonaikai Kisen takes bookings from two months before the travel date, by phone (082-253-1212) and other means. Seating is unreserved and limited to capacity.

Fares and timetables change with revisions and temporary schedules, so check the Ishizaki Kisen official pages before you travel. You can also combine highway buses and ships to reach Hiroshima (see “From Matsuyama City Station to Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Fukuoka”).
