This is a transportation hub in Matsuyama where Iyo Railway's suburban trains (Takahama Line, Gunchu Line, and Yokogawara Line), city trams, local buses, and highway buses converge. The two stations are about 1.8 km apart.

Railway Lines (Suburban Trains)

All lines share the same ticket gates (Takashimaya 1F). Platforms vary by destination.

  • Takahama Line (orange): Toward Mitsuhama (historic district), Baishinji (sea), and the tourist port.
  • Gunchu Line (green): Toward Emifull MASAKI (large mall), Masaki, and Iyo City.
  • Yokogawara Line (blue): Toward Ehime University Hospital and Toon City (Lespas City).

Bus Terminal

The stops are arranged around the station plaza.

  • Airport limousine bus and tourist port limousine bus: Near Stop 2 (or the Stop B area).
  • Highway buses (Tokyo, Osaka, Takamatsu, etc.): Depart from the area near the railway station building.
  • Toward Tobe Zoo (Stop 3): A standard sightseeing route.

Additional Information

The Kururin Ferris wheel is on the rooftop, Iyotetsu Takashimaya is in the station building, and the Matsuchika Town underground shopping area is in the basement. This is a separate station about 1.8 km from Matsuyama Station (JR), so take care not to go to the wrong boarding point.
