If you want to visit Mitsuhama, do not go to JR Mitsuhama Station. The JR station is in a residential area away from the sightseeing district.
The correct station is Mitsu Station on the Iyotetsu Takahama Line. Board at Matsuyama City Station (Takashimaya 1F) and arrive in 15 minutes. A historic shopping street is just outside the station, and Mitsu Ferry is also easy to reach.
