Mameraku
A shop in Iwasakicho combining a cafe with the making and selling of handmade stone-milled tofu. It serves morning sets, soy milk curry and tofu rice bowls.
Mameraku is a shop located on the first floor of "Park Heights Nomoto" in Iwasakicho, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, which serves as both a stone-ground tofu manufacturer/vendor and a cafe/eatery. It is located on the southwest side of the Dogo Onsen area. According to official information, they make tofu using the traditional stone-ground, raw-squeezed method that brings out the sweetness of soybeans, and serve morning sets with drinks, soy milk curry, and freshly made tofu bowls. It also supports over-the-counter tofu sales, takeout/bento box to-go, and nationwide shipping of tofu. Iwasakicho is an area closer to the Matsuyama city center from Dogo Onsen, where people can stop by for breakfast, lunch, or tofu shopping, and it is also used by those seeking health-conscious meals.
