Ashiyu Cafe Botchan Dogo Ehime

Dogo Ashiyu Cafe Botchan is a cafe with a foot bath located in "Dogo Botchan Hiroba" in Dogo Sagidanicho, Matsuyama City.
Location
According to the official website of Hotel Kowakuen Haruka, which operates the square, Dogo Botchan Hiroba is located in front of the south entrance of Hotel Kowakuen Haruka, diagonally opposite Dogo Onsen Honkan. In addition to the foot bath, the square has a jakoten shop, and food trucks open daily on a rotating basis.
Foot Bath
It is designed to allow customers to enjoy drinks and other items while soaking in the foot bath. In the list of hand baths and foot baths in Dogo published by the Dogo Onsen Ryokan Cooperative Association, the operating hours of this shop are from 9:30 to 18:00 (until 20:00 on Saturdays), and there is a fee for use. While there are free foot baths in Dogo, there are also paid foot baths like this shop that are used in combination with food and drinks.
Surroundings
Located diagonally opposite Dogo Onsen Honkan, Dogo Onsen Bekkan Asuka-no-yu and Dogo Haikara-dori (shopping street) are also within walking distance. It is in a location that is easy to drop by between tours of Dogo Onsen Honkan or visiting various public baths.

Dogo Onsen Annex Asuka-no-Yu
An annex of Dogo Onsen opened in 2017. A bathhouse incorporating the architectural style of the Asuka period, it features an open-air bath, a grand hall, and special bathrooms that recreate the Yushinden imperial bath chamber.
Tsubaki-no-Yu
One of the external bathhouses of Dogo Onsen. A public bath cherished by locals, where you can enjoy the natural hot spring water along with Dogo Onsen Honkan and Asuka-no-Yu.
