Dogo Onsen Parking
Dogo Onsen Parking is a municipal parking lot with capacity for 100 vehicles, closest to Dogo Onsen Honkan. Free for 1 hour with use of 3 public bathhouses.
Yuge no Ya
Yuge no Ya opened in November 2025 in Dogo Haikara-dori. It is a shop selling taiyaki and post-bath sweets. It is located in a composite building on the site of the former Kadobanponpo.
Poem Dogo Yunomachi
A directly run shop for the Ehime confection Poem (Bomu). Its wide range includes seasonal items, making it useful for choosing souvenirs.
Atatakai Yado Taniya
The ryokan Atatakai Yado Taniya in Dogo Yunomachi. It is close to Dogo Onsen Honkan and convenient as a base for visiting the bathhouses.
Statue of Masaoka Shiki
A bronze statue of the haiku poet Masaoka Shiki in Hojoen plaza in front of Dogo Onsen Station. In reference to Shiki's love of baseball, he is depicted wearing a baseball uniform.
Takeya
Takeya is a bamboo craft specialty shop remaining in the Dogo Onsen shopping street. It handles bamboo products, including Dogo Onsen bath baskets, sieves, and chopsticks, with a focus on domestic production.
Dogo Onsen Annex Asuka-no-Yu
An annex of Dogo Onsen opened in 2017. A bathhouse incorporating the architectural style of the Asuka period, it features an open-air bath, a grand hall, and special bathrooms that recreate the Yushinden imperial bath chamber.
Dogo Onsen Honkan
The symbol of Dogo Onsen: a three-story wooden public bathhouse. Rebuilt in 1894 (Meiji 27), it is a National Important Cultural Property. Preservation and repair work was completed in December 2024, and the entire building is now open.
Croquette no Mitsuwa
Croquette no Mitsuwa is a takeout shop in the Dogo Onsen district. It offers fried foods such as croquettes and jaco katsu for visitors to eat while walking.
Hotel Dogo Yaya
Hotel Dogo Yaya in Dogo Takocho. A design-led hotel close to Dogo Onsen Station, convenient for sightseeing.
Jujiya Dogo
Jujiya was a traditional crafts store in Dogo shopping street. It offered handmade products from Ehime, including Tobe ware.
Dogo Grand Hotel
A hot spring hotel about a 4-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Honkan on level ground. It has the large baths Ai-no-Yu and Hime-no-Yu, fed from the hot spring source, and serves kaiseki meals.
Sugi Bee Garden Dogo Onsen
A honey specialist in the Dogo Onsen district. It sells honey, royal jelly, and health and cosmetic products made with honey.
Entei
A whole-property rental inn in the centre of Dogo Onsen. It has two rooms furnished with traditional Ehime crafts. It opened in 2023.
Tanuki Noren
A souvenir shop located on Dogo Haikara Dori. It sells local sake, local beer, and local shochu of Ehime, as well as delicacies of Setouchi. It is operated by Jugomangoku MASARU.
Dogo Haikara-dori (Dogo Shopping Street)
An arcade shopping street of about 250 meters connecting Dogo Onsen Station and Dogo Onsen Honkan. Lined with souvenir shops and restaurants, you can walk here in a yukata.
Koto no Niwa
A wooden inn that opened in April 2020. All 10 rooms are equipped with hot spring baths flowing directly from the source of Dogo Onsen. The capacity is 32 people.
Dogo Onsen No.4 Bunyujo
A hot spring distribution facility that collects pumped spring water and sends it to each facility. Of the four hot spring distribution facilities in Dogo, this is the only facility where visitors can observe the water gathering, and it features a hand bath where you can touch the hot spring water of around 50 degrees.
Suikodo
Suikodo is a kiln-direct shop for Tobe ware in the Dogo Onsen district. It operates as a direct outlet for Tobe ware, the traditional pottery of Ehime.
Maho wa Iranai
A specialty store for high-grade bread in Dogo Yunomachi. It handles plain “Shinsekai” and raisin “Budou no Toriko” primarily, and also offers online sales.
Tsubaki-no-Yu
One of the external bathhouses of Dogo Onsen. A public bath cherished by locals, where you can enjoy the natural hot spring water along with Dogo Onsen Honkan and Asuka-no-Yu.
Kitchen Yuzen Dogo
A tableware shop centered on chopsticks. In addition to about 700 types of chopsticks and chopstick rests, it handles lacquerware, glass products, and Tobeyaki, and offers free name engraving on chopsticks.
Dogo Milk Cheese Cake
A milk cheesecake specialist on Dogo Haikara-dori. Soft, smooth rare cheesecakes made with house-made cheese and Ehime-grown fruit are lined up here.
Mamekichi Honpo Dogo Haikara-dori
A shop on Dogo Haikara-dori specialising in bean confectionery. It stocks a range of Japanese and Western flavours, suited to eating as you walk or taking home as a gift.
Yamatoya Besso
A traditional Japanese-style inn located in Dogo Sagidanicho. It features a granite public bath and a stone-built open-air bath, and serves the flavors of Setouchi through kaiseki cuisine. The capacity is 74 people.
Jugomangoku MASARU
A souvenir shop in the Dogo Onsen district. It stocks a wide range of souvenirs, including sweets, sake and specialities from Dogo, Matsuyama and Ehime as well as the wider Shikoku and Seto Inland Sea area, plus mascot-character goods.
Dogo Musubi Kaguwa
An eatery located in a back alley of Dogo Shotengai. Opened on August 1, 2025. In addition to obanzai lunches and nabeyaki udon, visitors can experience making omusubi and matcha.
Pie Specialty Shop Tsutsumi Dogo
A pie specialist in the Dogo shopping arcade. It opened in 2025 as the second branch and offers pies for takeaway made with local ingredients, such as the Dogo sake-lees pie.
Uguisuya
A souvenir and confectionery shop in the Dogo Onsen district. It carries Ehime sweets such as Ichiroku tarts and Botchan dango, along with noodles and local sake.
Isshinmaru Dogo
Isshinmaru Dogo is a pub within the Dogo shopping street arcade. It offers local Ehime cuisine such as warayaki sea bream and tai-meshi.
Fuyusha Dogo
An outlet of the Terakoya group's Japanese general goods brand, in the Dogo Onsen district. It is in Dogo Yunomachi, Matsuyama, near Dogo Onsen Honkan.
Asuka Noren
A restaurant serving Ehime food near Asuka-no-Yu. Dishes include fish and chips and burgers made with Ehime red sea bream, imotaki and jakoten.
Dogo Monaka
A long-established café known for its ice-cream monaka (wafer sandwich), a favorite for over half a century and a fine treat after a bath.
Dogo Tsubaki Club
A Japanese restaurant that reopened after refurbishment in November 2025. The general goods shop Ayane was brought into the ground floor of the same building.
New Dogo Music
A theater located in Dogo Yunomachi. It is the only surviving strip theater in Shikoku, holding performances with a system of clearing the audience between shows. Persons under 18 years of age are not admitted. During the day, an udon restaurant operates in the same building.
Fujiya
A guesthouse located in Dogo Yunomachi. Equipped with a shared living room, kitchen, and shower room, it is a 3-minute walk to Dogo Onsen Honkan, and a 1-minute walk to Dogo Onsen Station and the shopping street.
Baby Castella Shoroan Dogo
Baby Castella Shoroan Dogo is a Baby Castella specialty shop in Dogo Yunomachi, close to Dogo Onsen Honkan. Baby Castella in flavors such as plain, matcha, custard, and chocolate can be enjoyed as a takeaway.

A hotel in Western-style architecture, which is unusual in the Dogo Onsen area. It is a 1-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Honkan and has 86 rooms.
Dogo Jinrikisha Ganso Kurumayasan
A sightseeing rickshaw departing from and arriving in front of Dogo Onsen Station. The oldest sightseeing rickshaw that first began operating in Shikoku in 1982.
Dogo Purin
A pudding specialist with a Taisho-era retro feel, known for Dogo Purin topped with a whole mandarin. A range of flavours is available.
Ganso Uwajima Taimeshi Gansui
The Matsuyama–Dogo branch of Gansui, a specialist in Uwajima taimeshi (sea bream over rice). Serves Uwajima-style taimeshi made with both wild and farmed red sea bream.
Dogo hakuro
A hotel in Dogo Onsen that opened in 2020. It is about a 5-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station and has a large natural hot spring bath with an open-air bath, along with contemporary guest rooms.

A long-established hotel standing directly in front of Dogo Onsen Honkan. It has indoor baths fed by piped Dogo Onsen water and serves dinners featuring sea bream.

A sharing cycle port, HELLO CYCLING Dogo Onsen Ekimae Port, is located in front of Dogo Onsen Station. Electric-assist bicycles can be rented to tour Matsuyama’s tourist destinations.
Yuagari bar Oga
A bar near Dogo Onsen Station. Visits wearing a yukata are welcome, and darts and karaoke are available.
Hanakatami
A coffee lounge next to the lobby of Yamatoya Honten, a long-established ryokan and restaurant in Dogo Onsen. Drinks can be had while looking out over the Japanese garden in the courtyard.
Ningyo Hanagokoro
This is the direct sales shop of Minami Nishikawa, a sculptor of wooden dolls from Iyo, specializing in hand-carved and hand-painted dolls. This is Ningyo Hanagokoro.
KING OF DINING, Dogo Yamanote Hotel
A restaurant on the first floor of Old England Dogo Yamanote Hotel. It serves creative French cuisine using ingredients from the Seto Inland Sea, from breakfast to dinner.
Yamazawa Shoten
A long-established liquor shop now in its sixth generation. It stocks local sake from across Ehime as well as unusual doburoku.
Yu Jinja Shrine
A shrine on Kanmuriyama hill, revered as the guardian deity of Dogo Onsen. Its principal deities are Onamuchi-no-Mikoto and Sukunahikona-no-Mikoto. A legend tells that hot water which had stopped after an earthquake began to flow again through prayer.
Iyashi no Mori Asse
A whole-body adjustment and chiropractic clinic, a 3-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station. A calm space to relieve fatigue from exploring the hot spring district.
10FACTORY Dogo
The Dogo branch of a mandarin specialist selling juice and other products made with Ehime-grown mandarins. It offers mandarin juice and dried fruit.
Lawson Matsuyama Dogo Ekimae
