Jujiya Dogo

Tobeyaki is ceramic ware produced mainly in Tobe Town, Iyo District, Ehime Prefecture, and is designated as an intangible cultural property of Ehime Prefecture, and was designated as a national traditional craft in 1976. It is characterized by patterns hand-painted in Gosu (indigo blue) on somewhat thick white porcelain, and because it is durable and suitable for daily use, many tableware items are produced.
