Dogo Onsen Annex Asuka-no-Yu
An annex of Dogo Onsen opened in 2017. A bathhouse incorporating the architectural style of the Asuka period, it features an open-air bath, a grand hall, and special bathrooms that recreate the Yushinden imperial bath chamber.
Dogo Onsen Annex Asuka-no-yu is a bathing facility of Dogo Onsen that opened in 2017. Together with Dogo Onsen Honkan and Tsubaki-no-yu, it forms the public baths (sotoyu) of Dogo, and was developed as a bathhouse incorporating the architectural style of the Asuka period. The interior, which uses Ehime's traditional crafts in various places, is also a feature.
Facilities
There are indoor baths and open-air baths on the 1st floor, and a rest area is provided on the 2nd floor. The building contains a special bathroom replicating "Yushinden," the imperial family's private bathroom in the Honkan, private rooms, and a 60-tatami-mat large lounge, and the way you spend your time varies depending on the course you use.
