Tsubaki-no-Yu

Tsubaki no Yu is one of the public baths (outer baths) located in Dogo Onsen. Along with the Dogo Onsen Main Building and Dogo Onsen Annex Asuka no Yu, it is used as a bathing facility where people can enjoy the hot spring source of Dogo Onsen, by both tourists and locals. Facing the Dogo Shopping Street, it is located in a place close to the Main Building.

History

Tsubaki no Yu was constructed in 1953 in conjunction with the 8th National Sports Festival (Shikoku Kokutai), and has reached the present day through subsequent reconstruction. It was renovated in 2017, and a space featuring bathrooms using granite and a "Yugama", one of the symbols of Dogo Onsen, has been prepared.

Spring Quality and Bathing

It is characterized by water flowing directly from the source using Dogo Onsen's hot spring source. There are no viewing facilities like the Main Building, and it is a simple public bath specializing in bathing.

• Bathing fee: Adults 500 yen, Children 200 yen (both within 1 hour). The fee was revised on May 1, 2026.
