Dogo Yamanote Hotel (Old England Dogo Yamanote Hotel) is a resort hotel located at 1-13 Dogo Sagidanicho, Matsuyama City. Featuring a European-style interior, it is designed around the concept of "Old England," carrying on British traditions and hospitality. Located about a 5-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station and within walking distance of Dogo Onsen Honkan, it is conveniently situated as a base for touring the hot springs.

The hotel has a total of 70 guest rooms, with rooms on each floor featuring European wallpapers, primarily from Britain, as well as rooms using William Morris designs. Inside the hotel is the "King's Wine Cellar," which stocks over 1,000 varieties of wine, and there is also a large hot spring bath drawn directly from the Dogo Onsen source.
Dining and Weddings
On the first floor are the restaurant "King of Dining" and the cafe "Queen's Cafe," with the restaurant offering creative French cuisine that makes use of the four seasons of Setouchi. Dedicated wedding facilities are also available, and the hotel is used for anniversary stays and wedding ceremonies.
Origins of the Hotel
The roots of the hotel date back to "Kawakichi Ryokan," which opened on the east side of Dogo Onsen Honkan in 1885. Creation of a hotel based on the concept of "Old England" began in 2003, and the present hotel was established in January 2004.

Yanagihara Kyokudo Haiku Monument
A haiku monument is located in Hojoen, in front of Dogo Onsen Honkan. It commemorates Ryu Hiroshi (1867–1957), a poet from Matsuyama. Ryu Hiroshi founded the literary magazine 'Hototogisu' in Matsuyama in 1897, and became the first honorary citizen of Matsuyama City.

A taproom directly managed by Minakuchi Shuzo, located opposite Dogo Onsen Honkan. "Dogo Bakushukan," which opened in 1996, was temporarily closed in May 2026 for renovation and is now operating as a shop serving Dogo Beer and local sake.

A seafood restaurant near Dogo Onsen Honkan, popular for red sea bream shipped direct from the Shimanami area, Uwajima-style raw sea bream rice, and kamameshi.
Shirakyu
A clothing and miscellaneous goods store located in Dogo Shotengai. In addition to creative clothing arranged from Iyo Kasuri, Kurume Kasuri, and old fabric, it also carries items such as Suigetsu ware, Matsuyama ware, and Imabari towels.

A rest area on the east side of Dogo Onsen Honkan. A piano has been placed there since 2025.
Bettei Oborozukiyo
A secluded inn in Dogo Sagidanicho. Every guest room has an open-air bath, and meals draw on the seasons of the Seto Inland Sea.

The Dogo branch of Rokujiya, founded in 1933 and known for the Matsuyama speciality tart. It sells additive-free Japanese and Western sweets such as castella and yokan.
