Dogo BEER BAR (formerly Dogo Bakushukan)
A taproom directly managed by Minakuchi Shuzo, located opposite Dogo Onsen Honkan. "Dogo Bakushukan," which opened in 1996, was temporarily closed in May 2026 for renovation and is now operating as a shop serving Dogo Beer and local sake.
This is a directly managed store of Minakuchi Shuzo, located in Dogo Yunomachi, Matsuyama City, opposite the Dogo Onsen Honkan. It opened in November 1996 as "Dogo Bakushukan" and operated as a shop serving Dogo Beer for about 30 years, but temporarily closed on May 6, 2026, for renovation due to a change in business format. After the renovation, it currently operates as a taproom offering brewery-direct Dogo Beer and local sake "NIKITATSU". Minakuchi Shuzo's official website, in its list of directly managed stores, describes this shop as "a taproom right next to Dogo Onsen, perfect for after a bath."
Food-centered offerings like before the renovation are no longer available, and the menu now focuses primarily on beer and sake. Takeout is also supported. The official website does not provide information about business hours, and the restaurant information site Tabelog lists them as 15:00 to 22:00 (last order for drinks at 21:45). Please check the latest information before visiting. In addition, "Tempura Goten Dogo" which opened on July 19, 2026, is also located in the same building at 20-13 Dogo Yunomachi. Other directly managed stores of Minakuchi Shuzo include "Dogo Ichie" in Dogokitacho and "Nikitatsu Kurabu" located inside it.
