Unagi Ogura Dogo
Unagi Ogura Dogo is a specialty eel restaurant, a walk of about 1 minute from Dogo Onsen Station. Since its establishment, it has served eel and beef rice dishes seasoned with a special sauce, and also offers takeout items.
This is an eel restaurant located approximately a 1-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station. According to the official website, focusing on "unaju" finished with a traditional sauce handed down since its founding, they offer a variety of menus such as "gyuju" using high-quality rib eye. The representative, Yasuaki Ogura, grew up near the Omogo River flowing at the foot of Mount Ishizuchi, and is said to have started the eel and sushi restaurant with the taste of river fish from his childhood as the starting point.
Making an effort to carefully grill each item one by one, they offer takeout items such as grilled rice balls containing eel and hitsumabushi-style rice balls in addition to dining in. They operate group stores mainly in Matsuyama City, such as Okaido branch, Emifull MASAKI branch, and JR Matsuyama Station branch. The location is convenient for dining after bathing or strolling through the Dogo Onsen town.
