This is a Taimeshi store located in the Dogo Shotengai in Dogo Yunomachi, Matsuyama City, and according to an interview article on the local information website Machiraku Matsuyama, it opened on April 29, 2026. It represents a new business format of "Kadoya," which allows customers to eat Taimeshi, a regional dish of Ehime, more quickly. The menu consists of Matsuyama Taimeshi, Uwajima Taimeshi, a comparison of both, and handmade ice monaka (vanilla, matcha, hojicha).
The way Ehime's Taimeshi is made differs by region. Uwajima Taimeshi from the Nanyo region is made by soaking raw slices of sea bream in a sauce combining soy sauce, mirin, egg, sesame seeds, and dashi broth, and eating it over hot rice. On the other hand, Taimeshi from the Toyo region, including Imabari City, is cooked with a whole sea bream and rice. Kadoya also operates the "Dogo Ekimae Store" and "Dogo Tsubakizaka Store" in Dogo, and with the addition of this store, it has become three stores. The business hours are from 11:00 to 19:30, and holidays are irregular.
