Dogo Musubi Kaguwa

An eatery located in a back alley of Dogo Shotengai. Opened on August 1, 2025. In addition to obanzai lunches and nabeyaki udon, visitors can experience making omusubi and matcha.

Dogo Musubi Kaguwa is an eatery located in Dogo Yunomachi, Matsuyama City, in a back alley with a shooting gallery, off the arcade of the Dogo Shopping District. According to an interview article on the local information website Machiraku Matsuyama, it opened on August 1, 2025. The store name "Kaguwa" is an ancient Yamato word meaning to have a good fragrance, as well as being attracted or favorable, reflecting the intention of being a shop that connects people through food.

It offers "Selectable Obanzai Lunch" (2,090 yen, tax included) limited to 20 servings until 14:00, where customers can choose obanzai using seasonal ingredients, and it comes with miso soup using Iyo barley miso. The nabeyaki udon popular in Matsuyama has a less sweet broth, contains plenty of beef and burdock root, and has spinach added. Other experiential menu items include "Omusubi Set" (3,080 yen, tax included) to roll by yourself, and "Matcha Set" (1,650 yen, tax included) starting from 14:00. It is a 2-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station, open from 10:00 to 20:00, and closed on Tuesdays.
