Dogo Onsen Tourist Information Center

A tourist information center near Dogo Onsen Station, next to Hojoen. Pamphlets for Dogo and Matsuyama tourism, and information on transportation and accommodation, are available.

Dogo Onsen Tourist Information Center is a tourist information facility located in Dogo Yunomachi, Matsuyama City, near Dogo Onsen Station and Hojoen. Visitors can obtain sightseeing brochures for Dogo Onsen and the surrounding Matsuyama area, as well as information on transportation, accommodations, and events, making it useful as a starting point for first-time visitors to Dogo.

Together with the Dogo Onsen Ryokan Cooperative Association, local lodging facilities, shopping street shop owners, and residents jointly disseminate information about the Dogo area, providing a wide range of tourism information such as dining, recreation, sightseeing, and lodging. It is also close to Dogo Onsen Honkan and Dogo Haikara-dori Street (shopping street), making it a convenient base for planning town walks and hot spring visits. Hojoen, located right nearby, has a footbath and the Botchan Karakuri Clock, serving as a meeting spot for sightseeing or a starting point for walks. Information on these surrounding spots can also be obtained at the information center.

A bakery near Dogo Onsen. It opens early in the morning and sells items such as salt bread with ice cream, mentaiko baguettes and raw doughnuts.

Kadoya Dogo Ekimae

Kadoya Dogo Ekimae is a restaurant near Dogo Onsen Station serving local cuisine. It featured tai-meshi and offered jakoten and Ehime sake.

Obanzai Bar Umegae

A hideaway bar on the first floor of the long-established ryokan Yamatoya Honten. It serves a weekly changing selection of obanzai side dishes and craft beer.
