Sora no Sanpomichi

A scenic promenade on Kanmuriyama overlooking Dogo Onsen Honkan. It has a free foot bath fed directly from the source, with views over the Dogo townscape and seasonal flowering trees.

Sora no Sanpomichi is an observation promenade developed on Kanmuryama, located on the south side of Dogo Onsen Honkan. It is known as a viewpoint offering a panoramic view of Dogo Onsen Honkan below, as well as a sweeping view of the townscape of Dogo. In addition to a gazebo and benches, it features a free-flowing hot spring foot bath that can be used for free.

Foot Bath and View

The foot bath is free-flowing directly from the source and is equipped with changing booths. In the list of Dogo's hand baths and foot baths published by the Dogo Onsen Ryokan Cooperative Association, the usage hours are also stated as 6:00–21:00. Out of the nine hand bath and foot bath locations in Dogo, this is the only place where you can soak your feet while looking down at Dogo Onsen Honkan from an elevated spot. Please bring your own towel.

Seasonal Views

Visitors can enjoy seasonal trees and flowers such as cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, autumn leaves, and camellias, and the area is also lit up at night.
