Uguisuya

A souvenir and confectionery shop in the Dogo Onsen district. It carries Ehime sweets such as Ichiroku tarts and Botchan dango, along with noodles and local sake.

"Uguisuya" is a souvenir and confectionery store located in Dogo Yunomachi, Matsuyama City. It is in a corner of the hot spring town close to the Dogo Onsen Main Building and Dogo Haikara-dori. According to the Dogo Onsen Official Area Guide, it offers Ehime's confectionery and noodles, such as Ichiroku Tart, Botchan Dango, Usumizuyokan, Poem, Yamadaya Manju, Okuri Tart, and Goshiki Somen, in addition to local sake and local beer. Botchan Dango is a three-colored dumpling named after Soseki Natsume's novel "Botchan" and is known as a representative souvenir sweet of Dogo. The regular holiday is said to be irregular, and it is located in a place where customers can choose multiple Ehime souvenirs all at once during breaks in bath hopping or walking around town.
