Yu no Yado Sachiya

Yu no Yado Sachiya is a hot spring ryokan located in the middle of Dogo Haikara-dori (shopping district) in Dogoyuno-cho, Matsuyama City. According to the official website, it is a small, retreat-like inn with only 7 rooms in total, located approximately a 1-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station and Dogo Onsen Honkan, where guests can enjoy Dogo Onsen water flowing directly from the source. The bathrooms can be chartered at night. For meals, creative Japanese kaiseki dishes, prepared carefully one by one using seasonal seafood nurtured in the warm Setouchi region, are served.
With a retro-style interior and homey hospitality, it is an inn suitable for trips where a small number of people want to spend time quietly. They promote a calm stay that is unique to a small inn with only 7 rooms in total. Facing Dogo Haikara-dori, it is also convenient as a base for touring public baths and walking around the town.
