Koto no Niwa
A wooden inn that opened in April 2020. All 10 rooms are equipped with hot spring baths flowing directly from the source of Dogo Onsen. The capacity is 32 people.
Koto no Niwa is a lodging located in Dogo Yuzukicho, Matsuyama City, and is a member of the Dogo Onsen Ryokan Cooperative Association. According to the association's official area guide, it opened in April 2020. The building was constructed by wooden building engineers and a local architectural designer using timber grown with the blessings of the sacred Mt. Ishizuchi. The lodging highlights that the humidity control effect unique to wooden structures alleviates dryness and eases humidity.
There are 10 guest rooms in total, consisting of 9 Western-style rooms and 1 Japanese-Western room, with a capacity of 32 people. All rooms are said to have access to "Namayu," free-flowing hot spring water direct from the source of Dogo Onsen. The location, Dogo Yuzukicho, is on the southeast side of the Dogo Onsen Honkan, and Hotel Katsuragi Spa Resort Dogo and Dogo Onsen Chaharu are located in the same town.
