Ningyo Hanagokoro
This is the direct sales shop of Minami Nishikawa, a sculptor of wooden dolls from Iyo, specializing in hand-carved and hand-painted dolls. This is Ningyo Hanagokoro.
"Kibori Ningyo Hanagokoro" is a craft and folk art shop located in Dogoyuno-machi, Matsuyama City. According to the Dogo Onsen Official Area Guide, it is a directly managed specialty shop of Naun Nishikawa, a woodcarving doll artist of Iyo Ittobori, handling dolls finished by hand-carving and hand-painting one by one. Iyo Ittobori is a woodcraft of Ehime that is carved by utilizing the texture of wood, and dolls of zodiac signs and lucky charms have been created. Located in a corner of the hot spring town close to Dogo Onsen Honkan and Haikara-dori, the shop is said to be open year-round. Located in a spot that is easy to drop by during sightseeing, it is one of the options when seeking handcrafted items as souvenirs or commemorations.
