"Ichiroku Honpo Dogo Honkan-mae Shop" is a Japanese confectionery shop located in the center of tourism, in front of the Dogo Onsen Honkan. It is situated in a location with particularly high foot traffic even within the Dogo Onsen area. According to the Dogo Onsen Official Area Guide, the first floor mainly stocks souvenir sweets including the Ehime specialty "Ichiroku Tart," while the second floor is "Ichiroku Saryo," a cafe where guests can enjoy drinks and light meals while looking at the Dogo Onsen Honkan.
In July 2024, the shop was renovated, a new workshop was established, and new products such as the takeout sweet "Dogo Dora Burger" were introduced. The Ichiroku Tart is Ehime's signature confectionery, made by rolling gyuhi paste flavored with yuzu in a sponge cake (castella) dough in a spiral shape. The shop is open year-round, making it a convenient spot to stop by for choosing souvenirs or taking a break during hot spring tours or strolls along Dogo Haikara-dori.
