Giyaman Glass Museum

江戸期から大正期までのぎやまん・びいどろや和ガラス約300点、振鷺閣の赤い板ガラス、道後の歴史史料を展示する美術館です。

道後ぎやまんガラスミュージアムは、江戸期から大正期までのぎやまん・びいどろや和ガラス作品を展示する美術館です。愛媛県松山市道後鷺谷町にあり、道後温泉本館から徒歩3分、道後山の手ガーデンの庭園内に位置します。館内では、江戸期のぎやまん・びいどろ、明治・大正の和ガラスなど、約300点におよぶ作品を展示しています。庭園には白鷺のオブジェやワインボトルの滝など、ガラスと水が響きあうアートが点在し、夜には光が揺らめく演出があります。展示の中には、道後温泉本館の振鷺閣(しんろかく)に使われていた赤い板ガラスもあります。さらに、道後の三千年におよぶ歴史をたどる史料展示も案内されています。開館時間は9時から18時までで、入館受付は17時30分までです。
