"Akatsuki Bleu" is a French confectionery shop that opened in December 2021 in Dogo Kitamachi, Matsuyama City. According to the official website, a pastry chef who trained in France opened the long-awaited shop after selling products from a food truck. The shop sells baked puddings made with egg whites and honey, assortments of seasonal baked sweets, and is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In the retro cafe space, you can also enjoy soft-serve ice cream, cakes, and drinks. Located in Dogo Kitamachi, slightly off the Dogo Onsen town, it is suitable for selecting sweets on weekends, buying souvenirs, or using as a cafe. Since the business days are limited, it is best to check the operating days before visiting.
