Umenoya
A six-room ryokan in the sukiya style, using the Yuzuki Castle ruins and Dogo Park as borrowed scenery. It has a semi-open-air rock bath and an indoor hinoki-wood bath.
This is Ryotei Umenoya, a ryokan located in Kamiichi, Matsuyama City. The address is 2-8-9 Kamiichi, and it is located approximately an 8-minute walk from Iyo Railway Dogo Onsen Station. It is a sukiya-style inn founded 75 years ago, with only 6 guest rooms in total. Using Dogo Park, which is the site of Iyo Yuzuki Castle, as borrowed scenery for the garden, it is designed so that guests can feel the changing of the four seasons in the quietness. The bathhouses are equipped with the semi-open-air rock bath "Mori no Yu" and the cypress indoor bath "Hanamo no Yu". For meals, they focus on local ingredients and serve dishes that make the most of dashi. Parking is free and no reservation is required. As a calm inn suitable for a small number of people, it is used in combination with strolling around Dogo Onsen.
