Igetsuan

Igetsuan is a hermitage for haiku located in Dogo Yuzukicho, Matsuyama City. An organization represented by the haiku poet Itsuki Natsui is involved in its operation, and it can be used as a rental space for haiku gatherings and other events by reservation in advance.

Matsuyama is a "haiku city" associated with Shiki Masaoka, and Igetsuan is one of the places that pass down this culture to the present day. It is located in the Dogo Onsen town area.

Kawahigashi Hekigoto Haiku Monument (Dogo Park)

A haiku monument within Kawahigashi Hekigoto Kuhi Dogo Koen. It commemorates Kawahigashi Hekigoto (1873–1937), a poet from Matsuyama. Hekigoto was a disciple of Masaoka Shiki and known as an innovator who promoted the New Tendency haiku.

The Kobayashi Issa haiku monument is located in Dogo Park, in front of the Shiki Memorial Museum. It transmits haiku from the prominent poet of the late Edo period.
