Igetsuan
A haiku hermitage located on Shoninzaka in Dogo Yuzukicho. Completed in 2018, it is considered the fourth hermitage in Matsuyama, following Koshin-an, Gudabutsu-an, and Isso-an. It can be used for haiku gatherings and other events on a reservation basis.

The Fourth Hermitage in Matsuyama
In Matsuyama, three hermitages are handed down: Koshin-an, Gudabutsu-an, and Isso-an. Igetsu-an was established as the fourth hermitage in Matsuyama, following them. The surrounding area is where Masaoka Shiki and Takahama Kyoshi went on poetry walks, and corresponds to the district where the anecdote of Natsume Soseki eating dango after a bath is handed down.
Origin of the Name
The master of the hermitage is the haiku poet Natsui Itsuki. It is explained that her haiku pen name "Itsuki" is derived from her real name "Igetsu," which was named by her grandfather with the wish that she would be like a moon illuminating the Iyo Province. The name of the hermitage is taken from this "Igetsu."
How to Use
It is rented out as a venue for haiku gatherings, study sessions, meetings, and cultural activities related to tourism and regional revitalization. Reservations are accepted from the beginning of the month five months prior to the date of use and must be applied for at least one week in advance. The fee is 5,000 yen for daytime (from 11:00 to 16:00), 19,000 yen for the full day (from 9:00 to 21:00), and 1,500 yen for a one-hour extension. Payment is accepted in cash or by credit card.

A Japanese-style dining restaurant on the second floor of Dogo Onsen Chaharu. It features dining seats, private rooms, and a long counter in a space of approximately 270 tsubo, serving kaiseki course meals and a buffet.
QUATRE CINQ
A modern French restaurant on the second floor of the Dogo inn CHAHARU Hanare Dogo Yumekura. It serves dishes made with local ingredients.
Monument to the Crown Prince's Visit
A stone monument within Dogo Park. This monument, indicating "Chugasho" (a place where the Crown Prince stopped), can be seen while strolling around the park.
Yugama Yakushi
A stone yugama in Dogo Park. It is a cylindrical stone object that was once used as a hot spring outlet for Dogo Onsen, and is a Tangible Cultural Property designated by Ehime Prefecture.
