Sakai Mokuzen Haiku Monument (Matsuyama Shrine)
A haiku monument inscribed with a poem by Saiwai Mokuzen stands within the grounds of Matsuyamajinja in Iwaidani, Matsuyama. It can be viewed along with visiting the shrine.

Joshin-ji Temple
A Tendai Buddhist temple in Iwaidani-higashi-machi, Matsuyama. One of the four temples associated with the Hisamatsu-Matsudaira family, it was relocated to its present site in 1635 (Kan'ei 12) by Matsudaira Sadayuki. The grounds contain the mausoleum of Matsudaira Sadayuki, a designated Ehime Prefecture historic site.

A haiku monument with a haiku by Sakai Mokuzen stands in front of Iwaidani Kominkan in Matsuyama. It is one of the haiku monuments scattered throughout Matsuyama.
Mausoleum of Matsudaira Sadamasa
A mausoleum in Iwaidani-higashi-machi, Matsuyama, enshrining Matsudaira Sadamasa (1610–1673), the younger brother of Matsudaira Sadayuki, the first lord of the Matsuyama Domain. Sadamasa was stripped of his domain after becoming a Buddhist monk and thereafter lived in Matsuyama.
Unagi Kaiseki Ogura
An eel kaiseki restaurant in Iwaidani, Matsuyama. Unaju grilled with an inherited sauce, gyuju, and a monthly eel kaiseki course can be had at seats overlooking the garden.

A souvenir shop in Iwaidani 4-chome, Matsuyama, not far from Dogo Onsen. It is a locally run shop in the Iwaidani district.
Mausoleum of Matsudaira Sadayuki
The mausoleum of Matsudaira Sadayuki (1587–1668), the first lord of the Matsuyama Domain, located within the grounds of Joshin-ji Temple. It is a designated historic site of Ehime Prefecture. Sadayuki entered Matsuyama in 1635 (Kan'ei 12) and rebuilt the keep of Matsuyama Castle into three tiers.
Iwaidani 1-chome Park
A small park ideal for a baby's or toddler's first park outing. It has a sandpit edged with urethane and spring-mounted playground rides shaped like a chick and a rabbit.
Soratobu Takoyaki Kacchan Iwaidani
Soratobu Takoyaki Kacchan Iwai Dani is a takoyaki takeout shop in Iwaidani. It is a local shop where you can take home freshly made takoyaki.
Sushiemon Dogo
A revolving sushi restaurant that opened in March 2026. It is located in the Iwaidani area, east of Dogo Onsen.
Matsuyama Toshogu (formerly Matsuyama Shrine)
A shrine in Iwaidani-higashi-machi, Matsuyama, enshrining Tokugawa Ieyasu and Sugawara no Michizane. In 2025 (Reiwa 7) it was renamed from its former name, Matsuyama Shrine, to Matsuyama Toshogu. Its shrine buildings are designated Tangible Cultural Properties of Ehime Prefecture.
Ajigen Yamamoto
A reservation-only Japanese kappo restaurant in Iwaidani, Matsuyama. It uses no chemical seasonings and serves omakase courses, nigiri sushi, eel dishes and hand-cut soba. It is in an area close to Dogo.
Myosei-ji Temple
A Nichiren sect temple located in Yamada-cho Otsu, Matsuyama City. The mountain name is Jueizan. Within the grounds, there is the grave of Yanagihara Kyokudo, a haiku poet who founded the haiku magazine "Hototogisu".
